The History of The Followers

The Followers are a three piece band specializing in classic/hard rock.

The Followers have a very complicated history. It all started in 2008 when current lead singer and bassist Mario, got a band together with a guitarist. After a few practices, these two slowly drifted apart. Then the next year in 2009, Mario found a new guitarist. But creative differences drew them apart. Then that same year, Mario found another new guitarist, and his brother was the drummer. But again, creative differences and lack of interest drew this band apart. Then, in 2010, the desperate Mario had noticed that his brother, Vincent, had formed a band, in which he played guitar. He was in that band with a bassist, and another guitarist. So Mario suggested that they combine bands. Then the band was Mario on drums and lead vocals, Vincent on guitar, and a bassist named Andrew, under the name of the Blackbirds. They then picked up a drummer. Then, the bassist lost interest and left the band. Then, for a short time they picked up another guitarist, who soon quit. After playing gigs for a year, The drummer quit the band. Now the band consists of Mario on bass and lead vocals, Vincent on guitar, and a new drummer soon to be determined.
